Instagram is one of the most well-known platforms for young to middle ages people to share their daily life and creativity through photo uploads and 24h stories to people around the world. The platform is contributed by celebrities, creators, influencers and infamous people, which contains more than 1 billion monthly users (Statista, 2018 cited in Kang & Wei, 2020). According to Sloan and Haase (2016), trustworthy users are hypothetically filled with valuable information such as human communication, self-manner, an idea on particular topics, and individual opinion on the world crisis. Hashtags are necessary for users to find typical interest related posts, which permits similar posts to stay in one area that makes surfing on the platform more convenient (Humphrey, 2016). Recently, there had been a new challenge going around the Instagram feed, which is “#WomenSupportingWomen” (see Figure 2), which allows women to post a picture of herself in a black and white filter and nominate 10 or more fellows to contribute to this challenge. This challenge is seen as an empowerment movement for girls to appreciate themselves and extend the reminder that every part of women is gorgeous and magnificent no matter what (Cohen, 2020). Personally, I feel that this is a remarkable way of spreading messages to remind how good a person is, and avoid the feeling of insecurity about their body and most importantly, the challenge significantly eases mental health problems for women since individuals feel unself-confident about their imperfection. Beside this challenge, Instagram could be a good resource to grow businesses since 90% of the users in the platform had been following those companies and 60% of users uncover a variety of products that they need on the site (Instagram, 2020) by creating ads and making influencers reviewing products; for example Princess Polly, Alya Skin AU, Fashionova, etc. modern restaurant success “isn’t all about food, it’s all about photos”, which means that the food photos play a huge role marketing especially through food bloggers on internet (CNN, 2018); for example the Crazyshake (see Figure 2) had been discovered by people because of their creativity and unique dishes, which I find it helpful for individuals who like trying new stuff out.

Dating on the internet is a new way to get a new in a new relationship and one of the most famous apps for smartphone is called Tinder, which it is being used approximately 10 millions people per day and it has been called “the hook-up or sex app” (Ayers, 2014 cited in Sumter et al, 2017). According to Duggan & Smith (2014, cited in Gatter & Hodkinson, 2016) stated that in the US, around eighty percent of solitary grown-ups that wanted an affair had been using an online dating app. I personally think that it is an essential tool for people that had been lonely, social phobia, introvert, lack of self-confidence, desperate, spend a huge amount of time on the internet, etc (Gatter & Hodkinson, 2016). Users' information on Tinder had been converted from a Facebook account such as sexual characteristics, maturity, interest, friends, and photos, which people just swipe left or right if they match (see figure 3), they can chat to their partner (Sumter et al, 2017). This app had been used mostly for middle-aged people (25 to 34 years old) that likely want to be in a romantic relationship (Ayers, 2014 cited in Sumter et al, 2017), which might be the reason of the increased in sexual harassment (Mitchell et al., 2008, cited in Sumter et al, 2017)

      It is noticeable that virtue reality is played almost 24h by most adults and children even on the street. Therefore, there is no religious showing in the movie. Additionally, the interaction between people is terrible, people will fight and felt frustrated because of the game. Hence, the divorce, death, and mortality rate significantly rises.

      The technological factors grow significantly since gadgets in 2020 are already advance for people. As can be seen in the film, the most developed one is virtue reality, which has been appreciated and loved by all people. The most interesting one is the flying delivery method, as it is shown in the film, the pizza is being delivered by drone to the customers.

      The atmosphere of the years 2045 is extremely in a poor condition. Cars, vans, truck containers, etc are being settled instead of house to corporate with the overpopulation. I also noticed that there is a lot of rubbish and old cars on the street since people got too distracted and don’t care about the environment.  

      Overall, this movie a reminder of how the world would look like if people don’t care about the environment and got distracted by technology.

      The interview was conducted on 5 September 2020 in the afternoon at a coffee shop with one of my friends who is studying Information of technology at one of the universities in Australia. He likes how the world is operating today because technologies are growing day by day for the convenience of both human and non-human. However, recently the climate is changing noticeably that cause the global crisis; For example, in Australia, natural disasters are happening every year like drought, flood, and bushfire (see Figure 1), which cause people a lot of damage. Therefore, he thinks that people will pay less attention to the environment in the future, but technology will be growing significantly. For that reason, the earth might be extremely polluted and ran out of natural resources soon, and people can’t live on this planet anymore. According to SpaceX (n.d.), the mars colonization might become plausible with the invention of reusable rocket transportation (see Figure 2) since mars have a similar atmosphere as earth. Moreover, in this Anthropocene era, the human can help the world by considering the sustainable option for every industry such as fashion, entertainment, manufacture, food, etc. they should take more responsibilities for their actions and he can see that most companies had taken this issue into a contemplation. Besides all the big industries, individuals should start from a small action as well to make the world better for further generations. Despite the environmental problem, his future scenario is more on a utopian side. Since he is studying technology, the idea of a robot replacing human work is a positive idea. Factory workers are underpaid and work over the limit that causes the issue of human labor. On the other hand, when the manufacturer paid too much, the companies might go bankrupt so robots might be a good solution for this issue. Even robots replace human labor works, but it also creates new careers for humans as well such as robot management because it is a machine and it can be error anytime. Artificial Intelligence is the smartest technology exist today since it mimics human, it will surely help human a lot especially people with depression, it would be an accompany or therapy for them. Moreover, it can be an assistant at the office since it doesn’t forget easily. For political issues, he thinks that the government might have more control over people like placing cameras everywhere on the street and detect people's identities since they want to be sure that their country is a safe place with no crime. Additionally, the economy will be growing especially online industry, since people are getting busier, they tend to shop online more because it is convenience with the easy return and refund policy, they are more motivated to shop online. On the social factor, the relationship between people may get worse, people have a trust issue contributing because of the internet scam and life-threatening events going on the news. In conclusion, he believes that the world will be full of technology because it makes our lives more convenient and people are demanding it.
